OVERVIEW

The purpose of this project is to see my capabilities in using advance techniques in Adobe Photoshop. The project was started with each students to come up with an idea and from that each student need to make a poster showcasing their ideas. By using the techniques taught by the instructor, I was able to demonstrate my ability in using mask, pen tool, colour swatches, pattern, align, pathfinders, mask clipping and blending functions.

PROCESS

The process of this project started with selecting an idea that I would like to make into a poster. In this project, I selected a famous Korean drama, called Goblin. The first thing that I needed to do was to sketch the layout of the poster and search for assets that can be used without violating copyright issues. Once I finished my layout, I started to put everything together in Adobe Photoshop.

The second stage is to illustrate the drama’s logo by my own, in order to avoid copyright violation, I needed to add some additional illustration in the logo. Finally, once everything created, I was able to combine all assets and did some final touches.

FINAL OUTCOME

I was able to produce a movie poster that showcase the main point of the drama. I was also able to learn the drama as well as advanced Adobe Photoshop techniques.
